The Politics of Chilbirth
New this spring
I’m very excited to engage with my to discuss the politics of childbirth. We’ll be talking about midwife licenses, maternal mortality, racial and SES health disparities, obstetric violence, the anti-natalist movement, the quiverfull movement, safe haven laws, and a few other things.

The Judicial Process
Judges and the System
I’m excited about this class. The BU course description really emphasizes the connection between practical details and broader theoretical questions. We’ll be looking at judges, judicial interpretation, judicial decision making, but also the role of lawyers, juries, clerks, and the law.
